Membership and How to Join

The SSA welcomes new members. Our standard membership dues are $25 per year. For students and anyone earning less than $35,000, annual dues are $10. 

Your dues help to support the Syrian Studies Association’s prizes, awards, and events. Members are added to our listserv and receive the first notice of SSA news and Bulletin issues.

We welcome active involvement in the SSA and encourage all members to consider serving on the SSA Board at some time, should they so wish. If you are interested in taking a more active role in the life of the SSA, please get in touch with the President.

To join or renew your membership, please pay by PayPal:

1) Go to www.paypal.com and log in with your account.

2) Choose “send money” to syrianstudiesassociation1992@gmail.com.

3) Send $25 for a regular membership, or $10 for a student or low-income membership.

If you aren’t able to use PayPal, please contact the SSA Treasurer to discuss the possibility of other arrangements.
